On 24th February 2011, Cancer Research UK is hosting its annual 'Sound & Vision' music heritage event at the iconic Abbey Road Studios. The sixth Sound & Vision event will be hosted by legendary BBC Radio 2 DJ 'Whispering' Bob Harris, who is patron alongside 'the fifth Beatle' Sir George Martin. The event will host exclusive live music performances and unique music memorabilia auctions. One off items up for auction includes exclusive artwork and photographs by Terry O'Neill, Gered Mankowitz and Andy Willsher to name but a few.

Music lovers can get in on the action with Cancer Research UK's exclusive Sound & Vision auction site on eBay. The site ' www.soundandvisionebay.com ' launches on 1st February 2011, among the items up for auction will be more than 30 hand-written lyrics by artists including Kasabian, Paul Weller, Paloma Faith, Seasick Steve, Editors, Happy Mondays, Plan B and Pet Shop Boys. Also up for grabs online is the chance to bid for the last 10 tickets to this invitation-only event to see some incredible live performances. Other online auction items include the chance to have a private tour of Abbey Road with record producer Giles Martin, whose production and mixing credits include Kula Shaker, Jeff Beck, INXS and Hayley Westenra!

The event is sponsored by Shepperton, a performance management and technology consultancy. Shepperton has pledged to donate 5% of all revenue from new clients to Cancer Research UK which will go towards Cancer Research UK's life saving work into beating cancer.
